USC point guard Donte Smith is transferring to Cal State San Bernardino after just one season with the Trojans. Smith, who was encouraged to go elsewhere if he wanted more playing time, will be immediately eligible at the Division II school.
The sophomore averaged just 2.6 points in 24 games last season after transferring to USC from Mt. San Antonio Junior College in Walnut.
