BELFAST - A man who was the subject of a police manhunt in the hills of Waldo County last week turned himself in to the Maine State Police over the weekend.
Derek Creasy, 25, of Unity was charged with two counts of burglary and four counts of theft by unauthorized taking after an alleged crime spree in Montville and Freedom on Thursday. Creasy managed to slip through a police dragnet and remained at large for more than a day.
