Thanksgiving Day is an important day in the greater Dayton area because it is highlighted by the Beerman family's 38th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner.

Plans are being completed to serve approximately 4,000 people a traditional Thanksgiving Day feast from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 23 at the newly remodeled Dayton Convention Center, 22 E. Fifth St.
