"We confiscated $123,000 in cash," said Camden. "The agreement between the gangs was to deal about $1,500 a week on just one corner, so this is a significant cut into their profits."

The second phase of "Operation Closed Shop" occurred on Oct. 13, when police arrested more gang members during their drug dealing.

"This is one of the biggest street corner conspiracy operations we've done in the past year," he said. "The conviction rate is about 98 percent for the 12or so we've run."
