Too often at an early age the African American Youth encounters situations that cause them to challenge, "with liberty and justice for all." That is why each year the Los Angeles NAACP Youth Council presents a Juvenile Justice Seminar in the community. The purpose of this seminar is to enhance the African American youths understanding of "liberty and justice for all." Injustice starts for some, at an early age. Too often, parents don't realize that youth have rights that are protected by law. At this seminar, lawyers, juvenile judges, policemen, community activists, ministers, probation officers, and social workers are there to answer the youth's questions and listen to concerns of parents as well.
