TIPP CITY -- For the first time since it was built at the corner of Third and Main streets in the 1890s, the Zion Lutheran Church will have its own parking lot. Church officials hope that step is followed by a successful $1.8 million capital campaign to add to church facilities.

Preparations for the parking lot included demolition in July of seven houses and two garages on adjacent properties.
