Milwaukee County Supervisor Elizabeth Coggs didn't shy away Monday from voicing her opinion on privatizing the Milwaukee County Zoo: She's against it. Reaching such a conclusion is premature. At the very least, County Executive Scott Walker's proposal deserves a fair hearing and full study.
Turning over the zoo to a nonprofit agency may turn out to save the county money in the long run.
