Madrid, June 27, 2024.- The GLTH announced today that the organization will have a new president. After four years of exceptional leadership, Laura Urquizu, president since the hub's founding, is stepping down and handing over the role to Ferran Sala, one of the current vice presidents and a founding member of the hub, representing vLex.

Laura Urquizu's presidency has been fundamental to the GLTH, driving exponential growth and positioning the organization as a global leader in the legal technology ecosystem. Under her leadership, the GLTH has built a network of individuals, startups, companies, universities, associations, and legal tech events that spans the globe. This success is reflected in the solid positioning of the entity, which is now preparing for a new phase of expansion.

Ferran Sala, who assumes the presidency today, is recognized as one of the architects of the GLTH and a leader with a disruptive and strategic vision of legaltech. With a professional career linked to innovation and technology in the legal field, Sala will guide the GLTH's course in this new phase, which prioritizes consolidating the organization internationally at a time when generative artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming the industry.
