The General Court has delivered judgments on appeals by Total SA, Elf Aquitaine SA and Arkema France against the European Commission's decision in the acrylic glass cartel. The General Court held that the Commission was correct to attribute liability for Arkema's infringement to its parent companies, on the basis that the parties had not provided sufficient evidence to rebut the presumption that the parent companies exercised decisive influence over Arkema.
