El Derecho Comercial, los mercados y el comercio son elementos dinámicos. La globalización y el auge tecnológico han producido la necesaria adaptación del derecho a las nuevas necesidades comerciales.
Un claro ejemplo de esta situación es la creación de la Ley sobre la letra de cambio y pagaré electrónicos, la cual entró en vigor desde el mes de diciembre del año 2021. El objeto de este cuerpo normativo es la desmaterialización y digitalización (“electrificación”) de la letra de cambio y el pagaré, como títulos valores regulados desde hace muchos años por el Código de Comercio.
