Con la sanción del Decreto de Necesidad y Urgencia 70/2023, el Poder Ejecutivo Nacional introdujo considerables modificaciones en la política aeronáutica argentina para fomentar el desarrollo de la industria aerocomercial en el país y mejorar la competitividad en el sector. A partir de esto, el 7 de febrero de 2024 la Resolución 6/2024 de la Secretaría de Transporte creó la Comisión de Reglamentación del Código Aeronáutico, con el propósito de elaborar un texto de reglamentación para ese cuerpo normativo que contemple los cambios introducidos.
