Nuevo Régimen de Ética Pública en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires

El 5 de diciembre de 2013 la Legislatura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires sancionó la Ley N° 4895, publicada en el Boletín Oficial el 15 de enero de 2014 (la “Ley de Ética”). La Ley de Ética entrará en vigencia a los 120 días de su publicación y debe ser reglamentada dentro de los 120 días de su entrada en vigencia.
La Ley de Ética establece el régimen aplicable al ejercicio de la función pública en el ámbito del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (“GCBA”), tanto a funcionarios de carrera como a funcionarios electos por sufragio popular.
La Ley de Ética establece reglas de incompatibilidades y conflictos de interés, un régimen de obsequios a funcionarios públicos y dispone un sistema de presentación anual de declaraciones juradas patrimoniales.
