Colombia aprueba la reforma pensional: Ley 2381 del 2024

El pasado martes 16 de julio de 2024, el presidente de la República sancionó la Ley 2381 del 2024, conocida como la Reforma Pensional, destinada a establecer un nuevo Sistema de protección social integral para la vejez, invalidez y muerte, mediante el reconocimiento de derechos conforme a un sistema de pilares.
No obstante, la nueva ley incluye un régimen de transición de dos años desde su entrada en vigor (1 de julio de 2025). Durante este período, las mujeres que hayan cotizado, al menos, 750 semanas y los hombres que hayan cotizado, al menos, 900 semanas, y que tengan menos de 47 años (mujeres) y 52 años (hombres), podrán optar por mantener el sistema actual o elegir el nuevo sistema establecido por la reforma.
