Actions taken against officials responsible for KL passport missing

Dhaka, Dec 1 (UNB) The government has taken 'administrative actions' against the officials and employees responsible for the missing of some 600 blank passports from the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, said Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque on Monday

He said a probe panel was formed following the incident and the recommendations put forward by the committee have fully been implemented.

Asked about the withdrawal of the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Malaysia following the recommendations, Haque maintained his stance saying "100 percent recommendations have been implemented".
