Carl Mathieson, 54.

SPENCER Carl Mathieson, 54, of Smithville Rd., died peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in U-Mass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife, Maria (Rotolo) Mathieson; three sons, James, Mark and Allyn Mathieson of Springfield; one step-son, Nicholas Brier of Spencer; two daughters, Tanya Wdowiak of Warren and Gayle Mathieson of Springfield; one step-daughter, Savanna Brier of Spencer; four brothers, Bill, Allyn, Paul and David; his mother-in-law Mary Rotolo; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A brother, Gary Mathieson predeceased him in 2005. He was born in Ware, son of the late James L. and Frances I. (Parker) Mathieson and grew up in West Brookfield and later lived 20 years in Springfield before moving to Spencer 7 years ago.
