Charge hearing in Khaleda's Niko graft case now Jan 19.

A court in Dhaka Tuesday deferred until January 19 indictment hearing in the Niko graft case against former prime minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. Judge Sheikh Hafizur Rahman of the Dhaka 9th special judge court passed the order in the newly built courtroom in front of Keraniganj Central Jail. January 5 was fixed as the latest date for holding the hearing on charge framing in the case, but prime accused Begum Khaleda Zia failed to appear before the court on health grounds and made her lawyers plead for time.
