Cierre de fronteras: nuevas medidas

El 8 de enero, el jefe de Gabinete de Ministros, por medio de la Decisión Administrativa N° 2/2021, prorrogó hasta el 31 de enero de 2021 la suspensión de la prueba piloto para la reapertura de turismo receptivo para turistas de países limítrofes nacionales o extranjeros residentes en estos y cuyo destino fuera el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA). La prueba había sido aprobada por la Decisión Administrativa N° 1949/2020 y comenzó a regir el 29 de octubre de 2020, pero fue suspendida a partir del 25 de diciembre, debido al aumento de casos de COVID-19 en los países de la región.
Asimismo, continúan suspendidos los vuelos directos con origen o destino en el Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña e Irlanda del Norte, Australia, Dinamarca, Italia y Holanda; medida impuesta por la Decisión Administrativa N° 2252/2020. La Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) quedó facultada para ampliar el listado de países según cómo se desarrolle la situación epidemiológica.
En línea con estas medidas, la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones dictó, a su vez, la Disposición N° 40/2021, que prorrogó la vigencia de la Disposición N° 3911/2020 (modificada por la Disposición N° 4019/2020). Esta designó el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza y el Aeropuerto Internacional de San Fernando como los únicos pasos fronterizos habilitados para el ingreso por vía aérea de nacionales o extranjeros residentes en el país, y de extranjeros no residentes que sean parientes directos de ciudadanos argentinos o residentes en el país, que ingresen transitoriamente a la Argentina por razones de necesidad y que no requieran visado.
La Dirección también dispuso que el egreso de personas desde Argentina podrá efectuarse a través de los pasos fronterizos mencionados y también por los demás pasos fronterizos terrestres entre Argentina y los países limítrofes que se encuentren habilitados.
Asimismo, el puerto de Buenos Aires (Terminal Buquebus) quedó habilitado únicamente para el ingreso de nacionales y extranjeros residentes en Argentina y, también, con carácter excepcional, para el ingreso de extranjeros no residentes en el país que sean parientes directos de ciudadanos...
