Colombians May Register In The Global Entry Program

On June 22th 2016, the Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) is signed, allowing the exchange of information for the access of users to the system.

WHAT CHANGED?

Starting July 27th, Colombian nationals traveling into the United States, are allowed to sign-up in the Global Entry program. This program, managed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), speeds-up the entry process of the travelers in 59 airports. WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF THIS CHANGE?

Colombia is the eighth country that joins the Global Entry. Other countries that already joined the program are United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Panama, South Korea, Mexico, Canada, and others. The Global Entry program allows travelers to speed-up the entry process in 59 airports.
