El Decreto de Necesidad y Urgencia Nº 491/2004 y la Resolución General AFIP Nº 1750/2004 elevaron paulatinamente el límite máximo de la remuneración sujeta a contribuciones a cargo de los empleadores para finalmente establecer su eliminación a partir del 1 de octubre de 2005.
Asimismo se estableció que respecto al Régimen Nacional de Obra Social, el Régimen Nacional del Seguro de Salud y la Ley de Riesgos del Trabajo el tope para las contribuciones continuará en $ 4.800.
