Fabricantes se dividem em acordo de reciclagem
A indústria está dividida em relação ao acordo de logística reversa, negociado há nove anos e que envolve também o comércio e o Ministério do Meio Ambiente. O acordo, cuja assinatura está prevista para ocorrer hoje em Brasília, estabelece um sistema de coleta e reciclagem de ampla gama de produtos eletroeletrônicos - de celulares a geladeiras e fogões.
A Eletros, associação que reúne grandes fabricantes de linha branca como Whirlpool (dona das marcas Brastemp e Consul) e Electrolux, não deve assinar o acordo. "Não existe segurança jurídica", disse ao Valor o presidente da Eletros, Jorge Nascimento.
Posição diferente tem a Abinee, que reúne fabricantes de produtos de informática como Dell, HP e Lenovo. "O acordo não apenas atende às exigências legais, como traz segurança jurídica às empresas", informou a entidade, em nota.
