El trabajo Pro-bono son los servicios legales gratuitos en beneficio de aquellas personas o comunidades de escasos recursos, en situación de vulnerabilidad social o marginadas, y de las organizaciones que los asisten (ONG). Prestar servicios Pro-Bono a quienes más lo necesitan, demuestra integridad profesional y sólidos valores éticos.
El trabajo pro-bono está cada vez más vinculado a consideraciones ambientales, sociales y de gobierno corporativo (ASG o ESG por sus siglas en inglés) y es una manera de que como abogados contribuyamos al desarrollo sostenible y la responsabilidad social.
