Hot air mass continues over weekend

The hot air mass started affecting the Kingdom, yesterday, will continue until next Sunday, pushing temperatures 4 to 5 degrees above their annual average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Hot weather conditions are forecast in hilly areas and plains, while scorching conditions prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the port city of Aqaba.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times, the JMD noted.
