Myanmar junta army camp raided in Tanintharyi Region

People's Defence Forces raided a junta military camp on a hill overlooking the Myeik to Dawei Road in Tanintharyi Region's Thetyatchaung Township on the morning of 14 December.

PDFs based in Thetyatchaung raided the camp, which was near to Paedat Village, at 5:30 a.m. on 14 December and the two sides exchanged fire for 30 minutes.

A Paedat villager said: 'We heard gunfire in the early morning. The local villagers were scared when they heard the gunfire and they then fled.
