President Masisi condoles Seligmanns

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi yesterday visited the family of the late Dr Karl Seligmann in Tlokweng to offer his condolences.

Dr Seligmann, a renowned medical specialist, died on January 25 and was buried over the weekend.

President Masisi said Dr Seligmann was selfless and had devoted all his energy to serving Batswana.

'I come here on behalf of Batswana to say be comforted.

The whole country envelopes you with love,' said Dr Masisi.

He said Dr Seligmann was a man of a Godly heart and integrity, who pioneered the country's health infrastructure.

'We did not only get the best medical care, but we got the best attention, love and care.

He was ever gentle and an enigmatic figure,' he added.

President Masisi said he was pleased to pay homage to a great figure such as the late Dr Seligmann, adding that his name would go down the echelons of history and in that he would be remembered in naming some buildings.
