Rio De Janeiro State Court Issues An Act Regarding The Registry Of Public And Private Entities For Receiving Judicial Notifications And Service Of Process By Means Of An Electronic System

In compliance with Section 246, §1º of the new Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure, which became in force in March, 2016, the Rio de Janeiro State Court enacted the Normative Act #102/2016 to regulate the procedures for the registration of public and private entities (except for micro and small enterprises) to receive notifications and service of process in electronic proceedings.
