The National Unity Government (NUG)

On Wednesday, the NUG announced that U Kyaw Zaw and U Nay Bone Latt had been appointed as spokespersons for the NUG President's Office and the NUG Prime Minister's Office respectively.

On Sunday, there was a video conference meeting between the NUG ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Planning, Finance and Investment and the Myanmar community in the UK.

In cooperation with Arizona State University the Spring University will award scholarships to 30 students.

The Ta'ang Political Consultative Council (TPCC) called on ethnic people to join hands in unity for the fight against the military dictatorship and the establishment of a federal democracy.

Revolutionary Activities

In Yinmabin Township in Sagaing Region, a combined rally from the rural community and the local public administration marched against the military dictatorship on Wednesday morning.

In Kani Township, there was a rural protest against the military dictatorship at 10:00 am on Wednesday.

In the north of Yinmabin Township, a combined rally of local villagers expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship on Wednesday morning.

At 2:00 am on Wednesday, the junta armed forces invaded local villages in Salingyi Township and Yinmabin Township. Consequently, over 12,000 people from 13 villages had to run away in the dark.

In Ye-U Township, the junta army set fire to Montsi Village on Sunday and Monday. Reportedly, 122 houses were burnt to ashes.

In Salingyi Township, the junta armed forces raided Shankaing Village and Tayar Village. Reportedly, they burnt piles of rice, tractors, cars and houses.

In Monywa, the Basic Education Students' Union hung revolutionary banners at the clock tower and Kanthaya.

In Mawlight Township, the junta army raided Wekatha Village at about 5:00 pm on Tuesday, shooting heavy artillery. They then burnt down houses.

In Salingyi Township, the Monywa University Students' Union donated rice, oil, warm clothes and money to local fire victims on Sunday.

In Kantbalu District, 81 civilians lost their lives due to the inhumane activities of the junta army.

In Maha Aungmye Township in Mandalay Region, Sein Win, the administrator of Yadanarbumi East Ward, was shot dead at 5:30 pm on Tuesday.

In Madayar Township, an underground guerrilla group attacked a junta convoy of 12 motorbikes. Reportedly, five junta soldiers died.
