Talks with Yangon to close yaba factories.

Yaba is flooding the cities of Bangladesh. The murder of Oishee's parents sounded the alarm bell in the country as Oishee and her friends were yaba addicts. After failing to stop inflow of yaba tablets in the country, the government has decided to hold talks with Myanmar to close the factories producing yaba tablets along the borders."We have decided to hold talks with Myanmar to stop inflow of yaba tablets in the country as the drugs seized here are cent percent of Myanmar origin," said the Director General of Department of Narcotic Control (DNC). The meeting will be held soon, and they will also hold talks about the action they have taken against Myanmar nationals, who are involved in yaba trading, in line with the list given by Bangladesh. The yaba factories along the China borders are also facing wipe out with the assistance of the United Nations.

The decision of holding talks with Myanmar came as supply of phensidyl has declined significantly with India already closing down a good number of factories producing the drug within 50 kilometers of their territory following talks with Bangladesh.
