Overview

On 28 Feb. 2022, the government of Qatar updated its travel and return measures. The government will now classify country risk levels by the following categories:

  • Standard Health measures
  • Red-List Health Measures

The government also reduced testing requirements so that foreign national travelers entering the country from a region subject to the standard health measures will be required to provide a negative PCR test within 48 hours prior to departure.

Citizens and residents of Qatar will not be required to undergo testing prior to entering the country.

Travelers arriving from a Red-List country or region may be subject to additional entrance requirements. For more information, click here.
