The first shipment of Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine is likely to reach Bangladesh between January 21 and 25 for vaccination against the coronavirus pandemic that took a fresh daily toll of 22 lives in the country. Officials of the Directorate General of Health Services said this at a press briefing on Monday afternoon. DGHS will get the vaccines from importing company Pharmaceuticals on January 27. "The government is going to launch online registration for Covid-19 vaccine recipients from January 26," the DGHS said. Vaccination may start countrywide on February 27. Bangladesh will get the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine from Serum Institute of India under a deal.
